KING CAKE Hands-On Class

We love New Orleans King Cakes, but there is a never-ending the debate about who has the best! Too much icing, not enough icing, too much cinnamon… you get the idea. Come learn how to make your own King Cake, just the way you like it. We will, of course, be indulging in a couple of different King Cakes. We will also have a pot of gumbo ready for you.

- The King Cake that you make will be wrapped up in a Cake box so that it can be presented to your family in style. Wine, beer, sodas and water will be available. This is a hands-on class, you will be kneading dough.

- We are offering classes in January and February 2024 on the following dates:

• Fridays @ 2:00 pm on the following dates - 1/05/2024, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2 & 2/9

• Sundays @ 6:00 pm on the following dates - 1/07/2024, 1/14, 1/28, 2/4 & 2/11

• Sunday @ 6:00 pm on 1/21/2024

- Only 10 spots available per class

January 5th, 2024 at 6pm we have a special Twelfth Night King Cake class featuring Matt Haines author of The Big Book of King Cake. For this class we are opening the kitchens and hosting a 20 person Hands-On class. In addition to the regular class, each guest will receive an autographed copy of The Big Book of King Cake.
