Cajun and Creole Cooking Series
This is our first Cooking Series in 2019. Classes start on Wednesday August 21st at 6:00 pm and will occur every Wednesday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm until September 25th. October 2nd is a bonus class for those students that attend the entire 6 week series. This series offers a dynamic collection of hands-on, technique focused classic Cajun and Creole recipes. In each class you will learn knife skills, new cooking techniques and plate presentation.
Week 1 – August 21st – Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo, Shrimp Etouffee and Bananas Foster.
Week 2 – August 28th – Spiced Pecan Citrus Salad, Ya-Ka-Mein, Bourbon Balls and Butter Cream Sauce
Week 3 – September 4th - Bacon Wrapped Oysters w/Meuniere Sauce, Red Beans and Rice with Fried Catfish, Sour Cream Pound Cake with a lemon/berry compote
Week 4 – September 11th - Corn Maque Choux with Shrimp, Artichoke stuffed with Creamed Crab meat, Lemon Cheese Cake
Week 5 – September 18th - Asparagus Charlotte, Shrimp and Plantain Torte, Orange Glazed pecans with Coco Cream
Week 6 – September 25th – Candy Bacon, Eggs Benedict over Crab Cakes, Jerk Chicken and Waffles
Bonus Class - October 2nd - for participants that complete the series we want to reward you with a complimentary class of your choice. That’s right you choose the menu.

The cost is $89 per class, per person. Every class includes instruction from our Chef. Drop-ins are welcome with a 24 hours advance notice. Cost is $150 per person if you are not committing to the entire series. Payments options and payment plans are available, please call to discuss.
KING CAKE Hands-On Class
We love New Orleans King Cakes, but there is a never-ending the debate about who has the best! Too much icing, not enough icing, too much cinnamon… you get the idea. Come learn how to make your own King Cake, just the way you like it. We will, of course, be indulging in a couple of different King Cakes. We will also have a pot of gumbo ready for you.
- The King Cake that you make will be wrapped up in a Cake box so that it can be presented to your family in style. Wine, Beer, Sodas and water will be available. This is a hands-on class, you will be kneading dough.
- We are offering classes in January and February 2020 on the following dates:

Birthday Parties, weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, team building events are just some of the events we can help make memorable. We can accommodate up to 50 guests.
Our property offers a variety of on-site locations for class and events, and we can accommodate multiple classes or events at the same time.
