New Orleans is known for its Gumbo, Etouffee and Bananas Foster. Learn the history behind these dishes, laugh at the Chefs stories, learn chef secrets, and the history of New Orleans food. Indulge in these historic staple dishes:

Our Vegetarian class with a Cajun twist. These palate pleasing recipes have been favorites of our locals for years. Come learn our secrets:

This Creole Class offers a warming Bisque with a hearty Creole dish. Come learn to cook some of our locals favorites:

TRADITIONS CLASS

These age old recipes will quickly become your new favorite Cajun/Creole dishes; dishes that are centuries old and still adorn today. We will use all the favorite Cajun and Creole meats to make our Jambalaya and Barbecue Shrimp. If you haven’t had our Barbecue Shrimp, you will be amazed:

  • Barbecue Shrimp (New Orleans style)

  • Chicken and Andouille Sausage Jambalaya

  • Chocolate Bread Pudding with a Brandy Mocha Sauce

BRUNCH CLASS

Sunday Brunch is a tradition in New Orleans. Since we tend to sleep in on Sundays, the first meal is usually a combination of breakfast and lunch. Enjoyed with an alcoholic beverage. Come learn to make a local staple dish of Southern cheesy grits:

  • New Orleans Style Shrimp and Grits

  • Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise Sauce over a Crab Cake

  • Praline bacon (Pig Candy)
